Rock Band DLC Leaked?
According to 1UP.com, Xbox.com let the cat out of the bag with upcoming Rock Band releases. Now if you’re the kind of person that likes to wait each week and be surprised by the new releases like it’s a mini-Christmas, then don’t look at this list. For the rest of you who are hungry for Rock content, click on the more button:
Week of January 22, 2008
Oasis Pack includes songs by Oasis including “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Live Forever,” and “Wonderwall”
Week of January 29, 2008
Progressive Pack includes “Siva” by Smashing Pumpkins, “Working Man” as made famous by Rush*, and “Ten Speed (Of God’s Blood and Burial)” as made famous by Coheed and Cambria*
The upcoming downloadable content looks a lot better than last week’s release. The Oasis songs are a must have if you love rocking it out 90s style and if you like the high singers and rocking hard, you’ve got both Rush AND Coheed and Cambria. I do wonder though… why in the hell is Coheed a cover when a master of one of their songs is included on the game? Claudio, please let us hear the real you and not some studio singer.
Finally, there is the Smashing Pumpkins. Personally, I hate the band but I love singing in that messed up, whiney ass Billy Corigan way. I’m still waiting for Bullet With Butterfly Wings, I’ll be one happy fake rock star then.
