Old School Sunday: First Ever Nintendo Commercial
This is a true blast from the past. It’s the first ever Nintendo Commercial. One thing you should note is Rob. Rob was a useless piece of hardware. It was supposed to help you with games, but all it did was be a “play pal” for all of the only children out there. And another thing, the way the kid is holding the controller in this video really frightens me. Who has ever played video games like that? And the kid with the Zapper, why is he taking aim as if he’s taking a shot at JFK. Relax kid, it’s friggin Duck Hunt, it’s not that serious!

That controller holding was horrible. It was like they gave it to the kid in the commercial without telling him how to use it.

Yea, really. I mean, he couldn’t have been comfortable holding the controller that way. I can’t imagine play for 2 or 3 hours that way.

I wondered for a moment if it was a case of the kid not actually having the game on the tv and they told him, here play with this.

Thay guy holding the controller looked like he was operating the controller like a calculator. what a dork, I never stayed that far away from the screen while playing duckhunt, alas the top scorer on my block during years active. 1988-1990. I also used to destroy cheetah in World Class track meet. The hurdles, my brother showed me to just lift the toes for ultimate jumping prowess.
