GameFly Third Distribution Center Opens (Again?)

Last I had wrote up on GameFly, it was to announce that a brand new Tampa distribution center was opening. I remember the Pittsburgh or Texas news, which left me with no difference in turnaround time for games that I had noticed, still, I stick with this service because I am usually either working or sleeping just about all the hours Blockbuster is open, plus who doesn’t like to get mail (and honestly, there is a part of me that has a lot of faith in GameFly to get up to par with Netflix).

Well today while checking the ol email, I get an one with the subject, “News Flash: New Shipping Center!” …. Wow, quickly I open and read this:

Dear Mike,

We’re excited to announce the opening of our newest Shipping Center in Tampa, FL! Our Tampa center will allow us to ship game rentals to the entire U.S. faster than ever.

We know that delivery times are very important to all our members. We’re working with the USPS every day to speed up your shipping and get your games to you faster.

If you’d like to know whether Los Angeles, Tampa, or Pittsburgh is your primary Shipping Center, please check the return address on your next GameFly mailer or check your Membership Terms.

Great news, right? Well, sadly, please see my post about GameFly opening up a Tampa distribution center from almost two months ago. I just pray that this second email actually means the center is open, I can only hope.
