EA Announces Burnout Paradise; Trailer & Screens
EA announced today they are working on Burnout Paradise specifically for next-gen consoles. EA is stating this Burnout is THE Burnout Criterion Studio has wanted to produce since Burnout came to be.

Next generation consoles have opened up a raft of new gameplay opportunities and the Criterion team has leapt at the chance to innovate and raise the bar to an all-new high. There are going to be some big surprises and a lot of new features but the core of the game is still pure Burnout. Instant accessibility will be reinforced by innovative on-line capabilities which will see Burnout Paradise smash racing conventions.’”
I’ve always been a fan of the Burnout series because of it’s sense of speed, graphics, and destructibility. If Criterion can deliver what they promise, then I just may have creamed.

@somewhat: This kind of driving game is the best too. I mean, I like PGRs and Forzas and all that, but the not so serious “arcadey” driving games are more enjoyable because you don’t really need to be experienced to enjoy it

Yes, but the crashes in this game are amazing! Whenever there is a crash, they zoom in Matrix style and give you a really good perspective on the crash
