Dungeons and Dragons on Facebook

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

If you’re a nerd then there’s a good change that you have at least a semi-appreciation for Dungeons and Dragons. Unfortunatly for me, I was never really able to get into the game because I never had enough friends who were interested in it enough to play. Hey, it sucks being a nerd in a really, really small town. I’d still like to play it sometime, but my D&D needs are usually met by video games. Thankfully now there’s a way to waste even more of my workday on Facebook, because there’s an official D&D game called, Dungeons & Dragons: Tiny Adventures.

There are a few heroes to select from and once you name them you are up and running. While you don’t necessarily get to direct them, you’re more of a hands off D&D manager. You buy stuff for your hero, send them on quests, and there’s also some assistance you can give to your friends that have the Facebook ap. Right now their servers are getting hit pretty hard so good luck if you decide to give it a shot.
